Using minimal form and layered, translucent washes of color on raw natural canvas, I explore relationships between proportion, tone, balance, and atmosphere—creating compositions intended to quiet visual noise and heighten a sense of stillness, clarity, and presence.
Through repetition, tonal calibration, and subtle shifts in form, the paintings investigate how color, proportion, and spatial balance shape the perceptual and emotional experience of an environment.
